After Dark - Stheno's T.o.T. Hut

The next "hut" (it was more of a hide, honestly) that wanderers would find themselves at after Stryker's would be Stheno's. But the hide was expanded now, only a small upgrade to hold Stheno's collection of Python and other Snake Scales along with so many other things that she would give out. She rolled over a few pumpkins and set them beside her hide along with a few makeshift decorations that resembled decaying bodies reaching for the heavens. Lovely, right?

A few candles lay before the opening of her hide, illuminating her face from the right side and only slightly illuminating her stash that was hidden among sticks and greenery. A sly grin was on her face, silver eyes glinting with delight. She loved the spooky season - she really could just be herself. Of course, she couldn't really harm anyone within the group now, could she?

A plank of wood sat to the left of her hide, held up by stones, with the Japanese characters トリック・オア・トリート！ scrawled on with crimson dye, then the translation Trick or Treat! scrawled below the Japanese in a dark black.

“Your decorations are so cool!” Wuyi chirped.

The cub bent down, poked one of the “decaying hands,” and sniffed it. Just to make sure it wasn’t, you know, a real zombie or anything like that. Xe picked up his white trick-or-treat bag and weaved through the decorations to Stheno’s candy stash.

Wuyi dropped the bag between his paws and grinned a toothy smile. With a paw, Wuyi manipulated the velvet cape wrapped around xyr neck, and twirled. “Treat, please!”

Her eyes spotted the other hybrid as they bounded up, a confused tilt of her head greeting them. They didn't smell of the coalition. But they were young and only wanted a treat. "こんにちは！ I'll give you two treats, as you're my first visitor, little one." She flicked her tongue at Wuyi before ducking her head back into her hide. A bit of shuffling around occurred before she popped back out with two items - a yellow python scale and a piece of candy. She dropped it into Wuyi's bag and snickered. "A scale and a sweet. What's your name, kid? I'm Stheno."

“Thank you!” Wuyi flashed his teeth in a toothy grin.

Xe dropped the treat into the white bag, but held the scale in paw. Squinting at the yellow snakeskin, xyr eyes widened. “This is cooooool. You’re really cool! What kinda snake is this?”

Head bobbing up and down, the kid looked up at the snake hybrid. “I’m Wuyi! Do you have a cool name? You’re so cool, you’ve gotta have a cool name! Is it like… let me guess… Liu Bao the Serpent Queen!”
