With the news of Elsweyr giving birth quickly running through camp, Atbash decided she would gather some things together for the new mother. The easiest thing for her right now was to gather water - being able to manipulate it and drawing it from the ocean while leaving the salt was easier for her than hunting. Although hunting took much less energy, the savannah wanted to be able to bring Elsweyr something useful. And water right now was something that was desperately needed. Prey was too, but at the very least her clanmates could provide some, even if most prey were practically just skin and bones.

Carrying a small container, Atbash made her way towards the shore and sat down, focusing on the water for a few moments before she inhaled a large breath. Manipulating the water while dehydrated herself was hard but she eventually did manage it; though a headache was certainly pounding in her head as she made her way back to camp. Using a small amount of energy with her air elementals, the container floated next to Atbash as she grabbed a small piece of prey from the freshkill pile.

Coming up to Elsweyr's home, the savannah knocked on the Luminary's door. "Els?" She called, voice muffled by the prey she had in her mouth.

"Oh, you're checking up on Pretty Mother, too. Hope you don't mind if I accompany you." The rich voice, though definitely Ares, rang from behind Atbash, some feet back. She had taken the form of a rich black lioness, with blue fading marks on her muzzle and paws. Her horns seemed to have gotten longer with the new form, curving like ram horns and jutting forward. Eyes were a clear-water blue and looked at Atbash with gratitude.

Her new black and blue wings stretched a bit, "I did some more fishing, I think Pretty-Mother will like some fish to eat." Her head nodded to the basket at her feet, which had the bottom covered by fresh fish of various sizes. There was still pain in her eyes as she looked back up.

Her paws fidgeted but she stood up and took the basket into her maw, walking up to stand next to Atbash. Tucked behind one of her ears was a few gray feathers with black tips.

Sleeping was what she had mainly been doing since giving birth. Her energy was still low but she was providing enough milk for her cubs at least. They were hungry and she instinctively kept them clean whenever she woke up from her long naps. It was in the middle of the day when she heard the knock on the door and a familiar voice call out. Drawing up her legs she would gently attempt to lick the top of Konari's head while also shifting Lucinder gently so that she could get up. Shaking herself she walked, feeling her aching body but she knew the feeling already. It didn't bother her so much but what did was how she had died during childbirth. At least that was what she had been told. She was dead for two minutes, nothing was responsive and then she was resuscitate. Odd that she didn't remember anything. Didn't Cipactli say that they would see her again?

Shaking her head she made her way to the front door and opened it with her large paw. A smile pulled at her muzzle at whom she saw there. "Atbash, Ares. It is nice to see them. Ah, would they both like to come in?" She shifted to let them both in, the house tidied and cleaned. The sounds of the cubs coming from the other room. Gently she led them that way so that she could keep an eye on them. "Are those for her?" The pale huntress asked as she noticed the items that both carried with them.

it was hot, very hot. so hot that the male woke up with narrowed optics and an immediate scream. this wasn't where he was born. it was better, cooler, but still very hot for someone like him. he briefly felt his mother move him gently to the side, then her form rose up and left. to his dismay, he heard voices and he didn't feel her closeby anymore. shut optics swivelled to pinpoint her scent, body rising to clumsily stumble out of the bed only to fall to the ground. a grunt. had to get back up. tried again, mustered all his strength to push himself steady. stood, panting, weak. the heat, it was really hot.

It seemed like she and Ares had the same idea; Atbash smiled at the girl as she came over, carrying pieces of fish. "I don't mind." The savannah replied as much as she could with her own prey in her mouth. Honestly, Atbash was glad that Ares came and brought better-looking food. A scrawny squirrel wasn't going to get Elsweyr anywhere.

Elsweyr opened the door and greeted both of them, inviting the two of them inside. Atbash dipped her head before she gently set down the squirrel she was carrying, and moved the water container to a table by manipulating the air. It was a relief not to focus what little energy she had left on trying to manipulate the air around her, though Atbash tried not to make it obvious. "These are. I apologize for not bringing anything better food-wise, but I think Ares had a basket of more, ah, valuable food." Atbash replied to Elsweyr's question, her ears pricked as she heard the little cubs behind the new mother. One of the cubs stumbled out of the nest, clearly trying to figure out what was going on. Atbash tried to quickly go over to LUCINDER and tried to pick him up by the scruff to place her back into Elsweyr's nest.

All assuming the mother herself didn't try first, of course.

Ares grinned as the door opened, dipping her head a bit and following Elsweyr and Atbash inside. "Yeah. Just thought you'd need it with the little kids." She chuckled, setting the basket beside a table and looked over to Lucinder. "Active little kid, huh." She chuckled, sitting down and letting out a gentle chuff. Her siblings. Her siblings.

"She needs to rest" Colere stated to them, narrowing his golden gaze slightly as he leaned against the entrance of the house, he understood the excitement that the new cubs brought and he knew many were worried about the Luminary but... she wasn't going to regain all her strength if she isn't given enough time to rest. Especially after that scare and losing so much blood.  He sighed a bit before moving in and looking at Els, tilting his head slightly as if to ask if she was okay with visitors at the moment or not. He had only came to check how the mother and children were recovering when he saw the group of members beginning to crowd the room.
