it was still early when zuriela woke with a slight jump. her dreams had been so weird lately. dreams of the ocean marred with mystery. creatures gliding under the waves and swirling shadows. it was troubling her more then one would know. this time, despite the darkness around her, she would rise to her paws. slipping out of the nursery and making her way across the territory until she found herself on the shore.
she would leap onto a rock surrounded by the waters and there she would lay down. watching the sunrise over the waters around her. casting shades of pink and yellow over the waves. the child would find herself looking down at the swirling waves. watching the waters until..

the child perked up at the sight and let her eyes follow the strange motion. it was large and she was not sure what it was. how could she be. "what secrets do you hide..?" she whispered to the waters as the shadow vanished into the early morning light. the fox was left simply watching the waters.
