Vanessa had spent the last few hours settling into a house in the bay. It was a nice place in excellent condition and it was clean inside. It was a large hut with a living room, a kitchen, and two bedrooms with multiple beds in them. The female had been sitting outside, on the front-porch, her blue-eyes focused in front of her.

The Typhoon's territory was beautiful. The perfect place for someone to relax and be at ease- that's what Vanessa thought.

Nessa had not excepted for the young child to approach, so the sound of their voice had made the onyx-lupine jump slightly. She would offer a smile to Cronas, as he spoke to her, noticing he was alone. How sad. "Nice to meet you, Cronas. I'm Vanessa."

The obsidian-female had decided to pause for a few moments before asking. "Do you have any parents, Cronas?"

Vanessa would listen as the child spoke, somewhat surprised to learn that Cronas had no idea what a parent was. The lupine would chuckle and shake her head. "A parent isn't food. A parent is someone who looks after someone younger then them and they give the younger person love."

The female would then head inside her house for a few seconds before coming out with a few slices of bread she had found in a bag at the tavern. "Are you hungry?" Nessa asked the young child.

Vanessa would chuckle softly at the child's puzzlement before she answered. "No, love is not food. It is a intense feeling of deep affection one has for another." She explained, starting to open up the bag of bread, noticing that Cronas was growing interested in the bread.

"Here you go." The raven-wolf would pass a few slices of bread to them, before she took a few slices of bread for herself- which she quickly swallowed.

Vanessa had smiled at the child's somewhat emotional reaction about learning the meaning of love. It was a nice feeling, to have taught a younger person something new. Upon hearing Cronas mumble a quick "thank you", the obsidian-female had nodded. "You're welcome."

After Cronas had finished eating the breed, she would lift her ears up, hearing the child's question. "Yes, but I left them some time ago, in order to start a life for myself. If you want, you can stay with me." The canine offered.
