TRADITION☆.｡.:* PENDANT TRADITION GUIDE .｡.:*☆
Started by Starrynight, the pendant tradition is one that all Ascendant members must participate in and follow. Members are obligated to receive their necklace and pendants, but they are not required to physically wear them if they choose not to. They are simply expected to keep their necklaces somewhere for safe keeping for the duration of their time in the Ascendants and to receive their proper beads accordingly. Beads are used to represent various check-points throughout a member's life as well as their current and past ranks; pendants are specific to each member and meant to say something about who they are.
TIMELINE
— Dwarf Stars will be given the opportunity to choose their necklace at some point before they become Fireballs. Necklaces can be made out of any material or substance, and are one of the major points of distinction for necklaces, seeing how all pendants are made of the same meteorite material.
— Upon becoming a Fireball, individuals will be taken to the Starpool to find their meteorite shard. This shard will then be crafted into their pendant and several beads to mark certain achievements in their Fireball training. As they train, they will receive their beads periodically, marking their progress as a Fireball.
— During their Observer ceremony, members receive their pendants to mark the end of their training. They will also receive any final beads from their original shard.
** NEW MEMBERS will be asked to follow any of these customs up until the current age they are. If someone joins as an Observer, they will choose their necklace and have a shard crafted for them right away, receiving all of their Fireball beads at once with their pendant. If they join as a Fireball, they will choose their necklace and select a meteorite shard, and so forth.

PENDANTS FAQ
All pendants must be the same dull silver-grey metal, as a result of being crafted from the same meteorite shards as everyone else's. Fireball beads are crafted from the same shard and will be the same color. (Members are free to use design references in any color/metal, as long as they are aware that the actual pendant will not be gold/silver/etc.)
Pendants are meant to all be individual and different, but subtle similarities between pendants are allowed. Please check here first to make sure that no pendants are identical.
