Yeah!! So basically this thread is gonna be a place to put some plot ideas into! Specifically, clanwide plots for ascendants so we can get some ideas rolling and get an idea of what events and things we might want to do sometime soon! While this is technically for clanwide plots, tbh I think it's fine if we also wanna throw out event ideas so pretty much if you have any ideas at all of things you'd like to see in Ascendants, just throw 'em in here! Then, after this thread, I'm guessing we'll move on to voting/a more in-depth discussion/something like that so yeah!! Plot away!
So here's just a quick list of some ideas off the top of my head rn but I might add more to this later:
events:
- CDC
- A holiday gift exchange
- Maybe some kind of space themed holiday party?? that could be fun
- Ice skating on the starpool
- Possibly an event with SH to help strengthen their new neutral-ship?
- Blind date/friendship event
plots:
- Maybe a plot revolving around the weather?? Like they could get snowed in and have to make hot coco or smth idk
- There's a rash of theft and the clan has to work together to figure out who/what it is
- Maybe something to do with the traditions changing and the constellations?? maybe there was some sort of spirit who enjoyed having their work appreciated by ascendants and changing things gets it all worked up
- A rare illness spreads and the clan works together to figure out what it is and how to prevent it. Maybe it has some weird side effects to make things more interesting?? and whoever's interested in the plot gets put in a random number generator and that's how those who are ill are picked? maybe the symptoms could change behavior somehow or revert them to childlike behavior or smth?? it doesn't necessarily have to be super serious but yeah
